What are the steps to check out?
When checking out, you would have already filled your shopping basket with lots of goodies and have proceeded to check out by clicking on the 'Check out' button.
You will not be able to check out if:
- Your basket is empty
- You have no device or package added to your basket
- If the special you have selected has expired or is invalid
Step 1: Your Quote
Your Quote is displayed and you are requested to accept our Online Application Terms and Conditions and credit vetting rights, before continuing further.
Step 2: Sign in or Registration
Complete the registration form if you do not have an online account or simply sign in.
Step 3: Your Details
This step requires you to complete your personal contact details and physical address. This information will be used when performing the credit vet. Based on your ITC score, your application will be approved or referred to a sales consultant. The sales consultant will be in contact with you, offering you deals that will best suit your affordability, if your deal is referred.
What is credit vetting?
TransUnion ITC, a credit bureau in South Africa, will check and obtain a report on your financial and debt payment history. Your history is scored and presented to companies, like Nashua Mobile when applying for a contract. Your score will mark you as a low or high risk customer.
Mobile Number Portability
Should you have a cell phone contract with another service provider and wish to keep this number and move it to your new Nashua Mobile account, complete the mobile number portability portion of the check out.
Number For Life
If you currently have a prepaid cell phone number which you would like to move to Nashua Mobile, complete the number for life portion.
Step 4: Credit Check
If your deal is approved you will continue to complete your deal by following the necessary steps.
If your deal is referred to a consultant, you will be notified via SMS or e-mail when your deal is approved or declined. You will then be required to sign in to the website and accept or decline your deal.
Please note that you will have 7 days to complete your deal, once you have received your notification.
Step 5: Pay-in
If your deal requires a once-off cost, you will be required to pay for this online using your credit or cheque card. This payment is done through a secure payment gateway. For more information on payment security, click here.
Step 6: Personal Details
Complete your deal by confirming your physical address, postal address, contact details, employer details and whether you are affiliated with one of our loyalty partners.
Step 7: Billing Details
Select your delivery address as a convenient address where your order will be delivered. Please ensure that you are available at this address during business hours.
Select which address you wish to appear on your monthly invoice in the Billing Address.
Your monthly invoice delivery method will define how you wish to receive your bill via e-mail or post. Select an option to suit your needs.
Step 8: Confirm Order
Your order is now complete and all that is required is your banking details, in order to set up your monthly debit order. These details are kept confidential and secure from fraudsters. For more information on website security, click here.
Step 9: RICA (Regulation of Interception of Communications)
On completion of checking out, you will receive a welcome letter e-mail confirming your order. Retain this e-mail for reference. Ensure that you prepare the RICA document requirements prior to your delivery date as these will be required on delivery. Should these documents not be submitted, activation of your SIM card will not be processed. This is in accordance with RICA (see Glossary).
